Made in honor of Gallery Aferro's 20th anniversary benefit auction, Meditation 4.4.1 (Illumination; Aferro) is a synthesis of my recent exploration of code-based illuminated manuscripts and my series of QR mandalas, in which a meditation on the image launches the viewer into cyberspace. The QR code initially directed viewers to Gallery Aferro's website, but is designed to be fully curatable, and may change to the owner's destination of choice.
